What is Yoga?

Yoga in the west is primarily perceived as a series of physical postures known as asanas. This aspect of the vast tradition of yoga is called Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga brings vitality and harmony to the bodymind system, and is commonly known to reduce tensions, improve strength, increase flexibility, and encourage balance and coordination.

At LoveMovement Healing Arts, we offer customized instruction (individual and group) in Hatha Yoga and private Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions. Our instructors are dedicated practitioners to the yogic way of life, and they have received extensive training in safely guiding you in this dynamic, healing, and life affirming system.
